When I first did my aesthetic training many moons ago, I felt like something was missing. The theory and practical was well covered, but I didn’t feel like I came away from the course equipped to start my own business.
It was for this reason, that when we set up UB academy, it was important for me to do a presentation to cover this aspect, alongside the theory and practical side of aesthetics.
Do all aesthetic course delegates go on to make a business?
Statistics say that 95% of delegates from aesthetic courses do not go on to make a business out of it. I was adamant that this wouldn’t be the case from UB Academy courses! From catching up with past delegates who have not yet gone onto turn their aesthetics knowledge into a business, we tried to delve further into why not.
Why don’t delegates turn their new skills into a business?
For some, it was personal reasons, but for others it just still felt like a huge overwhelming task, or they felt they would feel isolated practising (especially if they came into any issues.) Following this feedback, at UB Academy we decided to offer various different levels of membership.
What is a UB membership?
The membership options offer a different level of input and support depending on where the practitioner feels they sit within this framework. For some; they already have their brand and would simply like a bit more support going forwards. For others, they would much rather the work of sorting consent forms and marketing etc was done for them.
