One Day Advanced Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Filler Course
A one day course that builds upon the foundational theory and techniques of administering Botulinum Toxin Type A and Hyaluronic Acid Fillers to the facial area that has already been gained by the delegates. The course comprises of both theory and practical elements, using live models and practical assessment.
The morning covers a brief recap on the skin assessment, patient selection, aftercare advice and complications management. It then focuses on the use of Botulinum Toxin Type A and / or Hyaluronic Acid Fillers to treat the more advanced areas of the face such as brow lift / eyelid hooding, bunny lines, gummy smile, perioral and marionette lines, chin and cheek augmentation, masseter / facial slimming, jawline and jowls. The afternoon session is a practical session, where live models will be used, to get hands on experience of treating the areas discussed in the morning’s theory session.

What areas we cover
Over the one day course we cover the areas below
Jawline & Jowls
Jowls are excess or saggy skin around jaw, neck and chin. They affect most people everyone as they age and the skin becomes less elastic.
Smokers lines
Smoker’s lines are wrinkles that form on the upper lip. The lines on the upper lip is caused by the repetitive motion of puckering your lips.
Turned down mouth
A Marionette usually conveys “sagging” or “sadness”, leading to a tired look. Factors involved are age or active muscle movement.
Brow lift
A non-surgical brow lift is a cosmetic procedure that tightens and raises the skin on the upper third of your face, specifically the forehead and eyebrows.
Bunny lines
Bunny lines are diagonal and vertical wrinkles that appear on the bridge of the nose and on either side of the nose due to repeated contractions
Gummy smile
Gummy smile, also known as excessive gingival display, is a smile that shows an excessive amount of gum under the upper lip.
Chin augmentation
Chin augmentation – or ‘chin implants’– is an effective surgical procedure to enhance facial definition and build a more defined jawline and profile.
Cheek augmentation
Cheek implants or cheek augmentation adds shape, volume and contour to the face. Our delagates will learn to the techniques to provide this procedure.
Masseter / facial slimming
Face slimming involves Botox injections to reduce the size of the masseter muscles. This reduces the width of the lower face.
